CITec was founded in 1999. Our focus is the reduction of costs and effort in the maintenance of reinforced concrete structures (e.g. bridges or parking decks). Thus, we offer services in non-destructive detection and repair of corrosion damage of reinforced concrete structures. We focus on using mainly electrochemical methods.

After completing our research project concerning electrochemical Chloride Extraction from reinforced concrete successfully (the research was done within the FUTOUR program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi), we can offer a newly defined and more efficient method. Part of the project is the patented Combination Electrode – a pre-manufactured, re-usable device that contains all components for the application, measurement and control of a Chloride Extraction process.
